Joey Jordison once said- “Playing drums is how I communicate. It’s how I speak to people”. Every musical instrument can become a way of expressing one’s feelings. There are two types of instruments- tone-based instruments and beats-based instruments. The drum is a beat-based instrument. It is about rhythm and synchronization. A person’s actions are a good way of representing a person’s mind. Someone who is more synchronized in his mind displays more systematic and synchronized actions and vice versa. When a person learns to drum, he understands and practices synchronization which ultimately helps that person to become more synchronized, more systematic, more peaceful, and more disciplined in his mind. The play of tempo while playing the instrument is like a roller coaster ride for one’s energies.
Our course helps the learner to understand and explore various technical and conceptual dimensions of the subject. The learner also learns the advantages of learning drum and their daily life applications. We teach our learners not only the in-class-taught improvisations but also teach them how to improvise during live performances.
Every class is designed in such a way that the student can have active interaction with the teacher throughout the session and can ask any doubts or questions to understand the concept better. Not only this but the students are also encouraged by monthly competitions held between all the learners learning in the platform. The winners are rewarded with exciting prizes which encourage all the learners to constantly improve and excel in their respective subjects.
We aim at maintaining a positive and healthy learning environment on our platform as we understand that stress-free and simplified learning methods ensure effortless growth.
Monthly assessments are held for both teachers and students where the teachers discuss with the parents and the students, the student’s progress, strong points, and points of improvement. The students are also invited to provide their honest feedback on the teacher they are learning with and on the basis of the same, teachers are constantly made aware of their works of appreciation and points of improvement.
